Sovereignty and Independence Delivered

SeaPad is a next-generation mobile and interoperable maritime launch platform, designed to operate from water, offering states and space actors flexibility and independence in their space access strategy.

Unlike traditional, fixed launch sites, SeaPad eliminates geographical constraints by enabling launches from more diverse locations. This mobility ensures operational resilience: in the event of geopolitical tensions, natural disasters, or infrastructure damage on land, SeaPad guarantees the continuity of launch capabilities, protecting national space programs from disruption.

An All-Inclusive Solution

The goal is simple: provide resilient and flexible space access at a lower cost and to more nations than has historically been possible. SeaPad does this by implementing the NuPad on a barge, and pairing it with the necessary support services, such as tracking and telemetry, to enable successful missions.

By operating at sea, safety is enhanced and nuisance to local populations is reduced. Further, environmental impact is monitored throughout the process to keep operations sustainable.

SeaPad supports engine and stage tests, launch campaigns, and, in the future, stage recovery.

Multiple phases, one SeaPad

A launcher goes through several life phases: from development, first test flights, to scale-up and operations, and eventual stage recovery. Today, each phase often needs a different site. SeaPad is able to answer every phase, all from one mobile location.

SeaPad also brings together several technical breakthroughs including fully automated launch systems; active wave compensation, allowing operations up to rough sea states; and active management of environmental impacts.

Engine development

SeaPad runs hot-fire tests at sea, for engine development and qualification. This helps emerging space actors validate their engines before flight.

First flight

SeaPad offers a sea launch capability for sounding rockets and micro-launchers. It gives new actors a flexible way to reach their first flight, all while maximising safety.

Scale-up

SeaPad is scalable to higher launch cadences, and larger launch vehicles. Cadence and robustness increase, with no impact on land activities.

Stage recovery

SeaPad is developing a sea landing solution for reusable stages. This closes the loop, from launch to recovery, at all sea.

NuPad

Next Generation
Universal Launch PAD

The NuPad is the first multi-launcher launch pad in the world. Made for multi-launchers and multi-missions. Our NuPad is a response to a much larger problem of space’s accessibility. Ground segment is the most important limit to enter the space market, our NuPad is the answer that you’re looking for.
